Do you know what a set point is? It is a figure that your subconscious has created from your experiences and it refers to weight and money. These two set points work in different ways though. the money one wont let you earn more and the weight one wont let you weight loss - so they work the other way around but are basically stopping you doing what you want!
When I was in software contracting I earned a lot of money. But when I looked over my accounts and compared the years, I virtually earned the same amount - despite time off in between contracts and different rates. Why is this? Because my subconscious decided that I wasnt allowed/deserved/ safe (or any other reason) to earn more than I did. So it adjusted my situation so that the figure would be the same - yes your subconscious really is that powerful! So I had to release my trauma, change my beliefs and then my money set point rose. So even now if I suspect that my subconscious is trying to stop me earning more, I take a step back and look at what has come up. Remember everything is in layers so although you think you may have cleared a certain belief or trauma another aspect may be displaying itself for healing.
So your subconscious will definately have a set point for your weight. This again is based on trauma, beliefs, patterns and blocks. This will also explain why you can't lose weight or if you lose weight you will put it back on virtually immediately. The press is full of articles saying that people who have lost a lot of weight will put it back on because they go back to their old eating ways. That is not true - if you have lost a lot of weight there is no way you would put it all back in three months. You may put back a few pounds but not everything. This is because your subconscious realises that you are below your set point and will pull out all the stops to putting the weight back on - and it seems like you have no control over it and seem to be sleep walking through the entire time! I know this because it has happened to me many times.
Also you may have worked on your set point but a trigger like sexual attention may send your subconscious into meltdown and it will reinstate the old set point virtually immediately - this has recently happened to a client of mine.
So can it be changed? Yes of course it can! Firstly you need to meditate and ask your subconscious what your set point is. If you get no response imagine what it would be.
1. Look and heal traumas that have made you fearful - death, accidents, sexual abuse/rape/attention
2. Look at patterns of using your weight so you dont have to do something
3. Look at your eating patterns and see how they relate to triggers and traumas
4. Look at what happened in your life from birth to 7 and see whether you were loved and nutured or what messages you were given about food.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a great way of starting to release all of the above and decrease your weight set point. It is good to work on the traumas and patterns first before you start to put in the positive. Or book an appointment with me...........

Is it worth putting on 10 lb over Christmas?

So people seem to throw caution to the wind and eat what they like from November! When I had a beauty/toning table salon I couldnt believe that people left mid November and didnt come back until end of January - I thought people would be exercising up until Christmas and then immediately getting back to it afterwards but how wrong could I be!
What with all the party food, mince pies, drink, chocolate and nuts, Christmas Parties and then eating and drinking for a least 4 days over Christmas the weight (and water retention) can pile on. I know if I did this I would put on at least 14 lb (a UK stone) which would then take me a good three months to get off - and is it worth it? Certainly not to me!
Also it means that it will increase your stomach size and your appetite which means it will be harder to get it under control when you go back to dieting. And it means you will eat more over the Christmas period!
If you are eating like this it also means that you havent got to the bottom of your eating problems. Do you think it gives you a licence to eat? Do you feel deprived if you dont eat what other people are eating? Do you have cravings or are you emotionally eating over this period because of spending time with families, or grief or another reason?
I knew somebody who had lost a lot of weight and went on a cruise where she preceded to eat everything every day, including afternoon tea. This shows that she hasnt healed her problems and it took her over 4 months to get the weight off from one weeks eating! I am not saying that she couldnt have one afternoon tea, but why every day?
So you need to understand why you suddenly drop the exercise and healthy eating routine that you have worked hard on all year? Clear what comes up using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or tapping).
If you are going to over do it, cut down the day before and the day after because excess calories store as water for 48 hours so you could lose it before it turns to fat. This also means that your stomach wont stretch.
Go back to healthy eating the day after Boxing Day (26th in the UK) and throw out or freeze anything that might tempt you - dont let that old excuse of having to eat all the left overs up!
Watch the alcohol as this will put on excess water and make you eat!
Drink a glass of water reasonably slowly 30 minutes before a meal which will fill you up
Ask for treats rather than food for presents - vouchers for treatments, body lotions for pampering, manicures etc
Put a little bit of everything on your plate and always leave something - you dont have to eat everything!
If you are going to a party eat before you go so you are not tempted to pick on sausage rolls!
Remember with peanuts that people may not have washed their hands so this should stop you digging in! And that they may have sneezed all over the party food!

Over the last 25 years I have read every weight loss book on the market and they have all promised instant weight loss, usually doing one thing. This thing could be juicing, shakes, walking, a particular diet, a particular exercise - the list goes on. But the real truth is that it is not one thing, but many!
The main reason for a weight problem is that your subconscious wants to hold extra weight and until you crack this you may lose the weight but you will put it back on. In my case my subconscious knew I would just starve so it filled me with water which I couldnt lose whatever I did.
Yes you need to cut your calories and do exercise but this has to be the best one for you. This is based on what you like, what your body type is and and what your body wants - I use muscle testing for this as everybody is different and my book teaches you how to muscle test so you can find out what suits you. I have know loads of people lose a lot of weight without exercising. I know a lot of slim people who overeat, emotionally eat, have cravings, eat junk food and they dont put on weight - so there must be more reasons. I used to do over three hours exercise a day and it made no difference! I got thrown out of Weight Watchers and Slimming World for putting on weight because my metabolism is too slow and I have to eat very little in small quantities.
Allergies and intolerances need to be eliminated so get an intolerance test done. You can get a voucher on Groupon and start to keep a food diary as you can see when something upsets you. Also please remember that when you combine foods they can cause water retention or problems - hence the food diary.
Nutrition is very important so you will most probably need to take supplements. Breathing is very important to get rid of the toxins and to speed up the metabolism. If you have a low thyroid it is almost impossible to lose weight. My book explains in great detail what you have to do, buy and if packed full of techniques and advice. You most probably will need an appetite suppressant or learn how to use Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) to release the traumas, low self esteem or other reasons why you cant lose weight - this information is all in my book.

Why does your subconscious use weight as protection?

So I am now fully recovered from my hip operation and feel like a million dollars! As I was ill on holiday and had an allergic reaction to some antibiotics I have also lost some more weight and was feeling really good about myself. So I started to wear tighter fitting clothes, makeup and jewellry and I was getting loads of compliments!! So what happened - suddenly I went from not eating to uncontrollably eating everything in sight - horror shock horror. I never do this and it makes me feel out of control, a pig and that I will put back all my weight.
So after a day when I realised I could do something to stop this, I did a session on myself and guess what I found? My subconscious had gone into panic mode, didnt feel safe and was trying to pack the weight back on again! I thought I had cleared all of this as I have been working on this for years and managed to get down to a UK size 18 which I was quite happy with - or rather my subconscious was happy with!
When I was three I was sexually abused which first lead to my weight problem. As an adult I lost weight and was very attractive and received masses amount of attention from men. I also had a few date rape episodes ..... I travelled a lot for work and it was so bad that you couldnt even go down for dinner. When I was working in Mexico for two months one day I had 30 hits from men (my colleague and I compared notes every day!). So you can see why I then put the weight back on and why my subconscious went into melt down the minute I started to get compliments.
I am still working through this as safety is a very strong survival issue and the subconscious takes some healing to release it. But now I am hopeful that I will get down to a 16.

Why do you eat emotionally?

Well I am back if you noticed that I havent been posting in a while. I had an amazing two weeks in Java and Sumatra wandering around temples and playing with orangutans! Then I went into hospital to have my left hip replaced and am now running around like a two year old - well nearly anyway!!
So time to get back to business and to weight problems......
Do you eat emotionally? Do you polish off a bar of chocolate and not even realise that you have done it? Do you eat a packet of biscuits and then feel guilty, shameful and your self worth dips? If you do you are not alone. There are many reasons why you do this but the good news is that they can be healed so you are not bothered about food!
1. Hormones - you know that at a certain time of the month your eating can go out of control
2. No money - believe it or not weight is linked to money and the less you have the more you may eat - this is to do with scarcity patterns
3. You have starved in past lives and your body doesnt want that to happen in this one
4. You have had trauma in your life and the eating blocks the pain of having to deal with it
5. You may have very low self esteem and eat to feel better
6. You could be "stuffing" emotions down rather than dealing with them
7. Your body type may require more food
8. and the list goes on ........................
Using EFT can release traumas, past lives, stuck emotions and most other things so this is your first port of call - but of course, you have to do it for it it work! Do you know what your thyroid is? It is a butterfly shaped gland situated in the front of your neck and forms part of your throat chakra. It is usually associated with not being able to speak up for yourself or speak your truth - sound familiar?!
The thyroid basically controls most of your hormone functions including your metabolism. As the estimate now for being underactive is 1 in 5 (especially women) it is not suprising that there is an obesity problem. In the UK the tests are inadequate and can say you are normal when you are not (this has happened to me). That is if the doctor evens picks it up because most always associate being overweight with overeating. Then the medication doesnt help - it may help some but it wont help with weight loss. I was 12 lb when I was born and I have struggled with my weight all my life. I have even lived on 150 calories for 7 years and did three hours of exercise a day (which I am now paying for with dodgy hips!). I started to investigate why I couldn't lose weight more deeply and went to visit a therapist who did muscle testing - this means that you ask your body yes or no questions and your body responds as it absolutely knows what it wants. So she asked my body if it wanted to lose weight and it said NO! I was absolutely gobsmacked - but "I do" I said - but your body/subconscious etc doesn't want to! So after I recovered from the shock, I realised that I had been using my weight as protection against something because every time I tuned into me being slim and attractive I felt the most tremendous fear and felt sick.
Being overweight means that you are not attractive to the majority of men (I can tell you that!) but that can be an advantage if you don't want the attention or have been abused. This is what had happened to me. When I was three I was sexually abused by my babysitters son for three years and had only got out of it by being ill and then my father was posted somewhere else so we moved. When I was slim for a few years I was very attractive and attracted a lot of attention from men and as I travelled around the world working it became a real problem as you couldn't even walk along a corridor without somebody trying to hit on you. As you can see by the picture that I was pretty stunning - how I loved my hair like that! So all the fear of the abuse came back and I started to put on weight. As my body knew I would starve until it came off, it flooded me with excess water which I couldn't do anything about.

With my clients, I find that this is the no. 1 reason for being overweight and if they lose it they will put it back on immediately. Abuse of any kind does take a lot of healing but it can be done and self esteem, confidence and respect can be restored. You may get the attention but it totally goes over your head because the patterns, blocks, trauma and fears have been cleared so your body/subconscious does not register this as a problem any more.
There is always a payback for everything - it is caused secondary gain. You all know of the woman who looks after their mother and moans all the time but when you say you need to back off they don't. This is because they get attention from other people which they wouldn't get if they stopped doing it. Other reasons that you would use your weight as protection:
1. traumas in past lives - you may not believe in past lives but any type of trauma in your ancestors may cause this fear within you
2. low self esteem/worth so your weight stops you from being promoted, getting a new job, going on holiday or many other reasons
3. you don't want to be seen so you make yourself big - I know this sounds the wrong way around but actually people don't pay any attention to overweight people - unless it is to be rude!
4. self hate - you hate yourself for eating and feel disgust so you eat more. If you loved yourself this wouldn't happen
5. You are carrying heavy burdens/weighted down by your life experience

Boosting your metabolism using EFT

To lose weight and keep it off you really need a good metabolism. If you have an underactive thyroid, or are older + a variety of other reasons, your metabolism may be slow and it won't burn off the calories and that equals weight gain - that stays firmly put! The best way I find to boost your metabolism is by using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT for short). To begin with you will need to do every day but after a couple of months I would suggest once a week for maintenance. EFT is really easy and there are full instructions in my book, Unlock your maximum weight loss potential, so I am not going to list the tapping points in this blog.
How to begin:
1. I would suggest that you sit quietly, close your eyes and ask your soul out of 100% what your metabolism is working at and go with the first number that comes up. If you dont get an answer, guess what you think it might be. Dont go for 100% to begin with, start with 5% above what you are getting and then build up. Ask your soul what may be the reasons and include them in your tapping statements. Again if you get nothing try and guess what they might be or just say metabolism and see what comes up.
2. Using the set up phrase say these three phrases:
"Even thought my metabolism is only working at 80%, I deeply and utterly love and accept myself and my metabolism"
"Even though my metabolism STILL only works at 80%, I deeply and utterly love and accept myself and my metabolism"
"Even though my metabolism STILL only works at 80%, I now CHOOSE that it works at 85% permanently and I am eliminating all the reasons why it is not working efficiently"
3. Using the tapping points you can use the following phrases:
a. I release all the trauma as to why my metabolism doesnt work properly
b. I release all of my stuck emotions etc
c. I release my need for my metabolism to work slowly
d. I release the need for protection which is keeping my weight high
e. I release all my patterns, blocks, fears etc

Why daily journalling will help your lose weight

To track what you are eating, your reactions to foods and your triggers to overeating, it is essential that you keep some form of journal. This will give you motivation and encourage you to keep going - and to see what external forces are in play and stopping you sticking to your new healthy plan. Once a week add your weight and your measurements so you can see the loss. I dont believe in weighing each day as water can add a few pounds and then you will get despondant. My book is packed full of information like this and so much more!
1. What you eat
Because it is very easy to snack and not know the full amount of what you are eating, it is a good idea to keep a food diary and roughly work out the calories. So if you go over your limit one day you know to cut back immediately. If it helps take a photo of what you are eating for each meal - this can really surprise you when you see the quantity!
2. Reactions to food
This means that you can immediately see if you have a reaction to a food/drink type - especially something filling you with water, bloating or actually putting on weight - and you can then eliminate it from your diet. It also helps to see if combination of different foods cause a problem. Bread and cheese may be ok but when you combine them into a sandwich they cause you problems
3. Hormones
This also helps track your cycle so you can see if you add any exta water or want to eat more at certain times - or crave certain foods. Once again when you know this you can use EFT to help with the symptoms and the cravings
4. Emotions
If you write down how you feel every day it is much clearer how stressed you are and why you may overeat for comfort or emotionally. This could be connected to your cycle or something completely different. Once you have identified the triggers you can then use other techniques to release them and not use food
5. Exercise
Write down all exercise so you can see if you need to change what you do or increase. Also track why you dont why to exercise on particular days
6. So you can see how far you have come

Why you should eat 5 veg and fruit not 5 fruit and veg!

You always hear people say "I eat my 5 fruit and veg" but most of it is fruit. Fruit is good for you but it is high in sugar, calories and doesnt have as many vitamins or minerals as veg.
Also 5 was a figure conjured up and is not even scienfically proven so you need to eat as much salad and veg as you can! Although veg does have calories they are very low. Try to add veg to everything you consume......
Did you know that fruit can be 100 calories a piece - so if you have three pieces a day that is 300 calories (brilliant arent I!) where as three veg would be nearer 7! So when buying fruit buy smaller pieces so you get the vitamins but not the calories and you wont feel the different between a large banana and a small one! So eat a maximum of two pieces of fruit a day and vary your choices during the week.
Also eat the fruit dont juice it - do you know that juicing loses the fibre and a lot of the goodness. Also it can cause acid on the teeth and spike your blood sugar sending your insulin mad and you on a pathway to diabetes II or syndrome X (which is the precursor) - I do find that if I eat fruit in the morning I am starving, whereas if I have an egg I am full until lunch or beyond. Everybody is different so you need to be aware of what you are eating and what affect it is having on your body. This is why people started to put on weight with juices because of the calories of the fruit,nuts and coconut milk!

Why you should have a multi faceted approach to weight loss

I believe that you should use as many techniques as possible to lose weight and not to pay anything for them! There is so much going on from beliefs, trauma, protection, cravings, perhaps past lives and ancestral issues that you will need to use everything at your disposal to eliminate these and program with the positive.
1. Hypnosis cd - there are so many out there and I would suggest you make full use of them. Why not program your mind while you are asleep (you have it on very very low as your subconscious will pick it up anyway). I like the gastric band ones as well as emotional eating so use a couple. I recommend Paul McKenna but there are loads free on youtube so see which ones you fancy and like. I have listened to a couple I didnt like so I didnt continue
2. Subliminal software - you can download a free program which you configure for weight loss, confidence etc on your laptop/desktop so as you work you are being automatically reprogrammed - these are brilliant
3. Accupressure diagram - I have printed out a hand print of accupressure points (easier than the feet!) so I can stimulate the thyroid, endocrine system and lymphatic system which will help with weight and water loss
4. Essential oils - in my book I list the oils you need to use to decrease appetite, boost weight loss and confidence. Buy the best you can as you will only need a couple of drops. Follow the instructions in my book
5. Spells - there are a couple of spells in my book but there are plenty on the net - they are great fun and do work but you do need to keep doing them!
6. Crystals - I have already mentioned crystals but use they every days as per my previous instructions

Program a crystal to help you lose and maintain your weight!

If you read the 'oggie googie' mags you will see that they tell you to buy a crystal for this and then another one for that - I have done this over the years and now have hundreds of crystals, most of which I dont know what they are or what they are for!
In my book, Unlock Your Maximum Weight Loss Potential, I have an entire chapter on crystals and how they can help with appetite, weight loss, water retention and many other things. However, today I just want to talk about how to buy one crystal and program it for everything that you need! How much cheaper and more productive is that!!
So either look at the crystals that you have or go into a specialist shop and stare at the crystals. Is there one that is jumping out at you? If you want to make, sure run your hand over them and see if one is hot or cold or attracts you in another way. If one doesnt show itself, pick the one that you like the most, whatever the colour or size. It is better to be reasonably small because I want you to carry it around with you so I dont want to weigh you down! It is a good idea to write down the programming statements before you start as you want to cover all aspects from overeating to protection to health issues etc. Break them down into as small portions as possible.
Instructions for programming:
Wash the crystal in luke warm water (if it is very delicate like a pearl you need to look up cleansing instructions on line) - this releases all negative energy from other owners or people who have handled it.
If you can put it in direct sunlight or moonlight for a few hours - this will really charge it up and energise it - if not it doesnt matter
Hold it in both hands and thank it for showing itself to you and then hold it to your heart. Ask that in the future that is becomes self cleansing so if it picks up negativity it is immediately released
Now say something like, "I would like to program you to help me with the following"
supressing my appetite
releasing everything that is causing my excess weight
releasing everything that is causing my excess water
releasing everything that is stopping me being slim
releasing everything that is making me comfort/overeat and stopping me sticking to my diet
and anything else that you have written down
releasing all the trauma that has made me protection myself with fat
keep me motivated in my goals
keep me at my target weight
help me love myself whatever weight I am

Are you an emotional eater?

Do you overeat and you dont know why? Do you eat when you are bored or upset? It is so common as food can mean love and comfort. If your mother was a feeder you will equate food to love. If you had a terrible childhood but always ate together and it was ok you will try and relive this. If you got sweets as a treat as a child when you need treating or comforting you will turn to any food. This is why will power doesnt work!
You may not be able to heal or talk about your traumas or emotions so you will use food to stuff down your emotions. If when you were ill your mother gave you attention and food (especially if she took no notice of you the rest of the time) you will use food to give yourself attention and love - or you may make yourself ill because you think you will get attention - this one doesnt work at all which I can confirm as I have tried it!
Some people chose alcohol, drugs, self harm or food and it is up to your subconscious and your childhood programming to which one you turn to. Then you beat yourself up because you have just eaten again, having promised yourself that you will stick to your diet or healthy eating plan. You will most probably have a very low self esteem, have no confidence, value or respect in yourself which then diminishes every time you cheat. This is all really common but the good news is that it can be fixed - not overnight but it can be with work, journalling and planning.
You need to identify what it is (there may be many) triggers of your emotional eating. Write them down and see who else was involved and what age you were and what messages you got. The first step is to identify and that is why it is good to journal so you can see on a daily basis what stresses cause you to reach for food. The technique for this is Emotional Freedom Technique and you start to tap on all your issues and then you will see that your dependance on food will start to disappear - and you will start to feel better about yourself and that helps as well. You can try self hypnosis and I would buy a crystal that you love (doesnt matter what type), wash it and then program it with what you would like it to help you with - emotions, eating healthily, conscious eating etc - and they carry it around with you - a good place is in the bra.

How drinking too much water can affect your weight loss

I recently joined a few weight loss groups and I was amazed to see one lady had drunk 5 litres of water and wondered why she couldnt lose weight. I have felt for a long time that the advice to drink over two litres a day of water is wrong and can hurt your kidneys/bladder and can wash out important minerals that you need - this is what happens sometimes when people die running a marathon. There is now a lot of research on the internet to say that drinking this amount of water is not good so check on it. Remember that advice sometimes becomes the normal and it is not for everybody - like smoothies are good for you - they can be fattening, rot your teeth and raise your blood sugar! Somebody recently admitted that the 10,000 steps rule was made up and there is no evidence to say that 10,000 steps will help anybody lose weight or become fit! Obviously better to do them than not do them! People 50 years ago didnt drink all this water and they were ok! You get water from other things you drink and from veg and fruit. Obviously if you are in a hot country you need more water but there is no need to drink litres.
Women suffer with hormonal water retention and other people suffer with water retention for a variety of reasons - I speak from experience here because the water goes inbetween my cells not in them so I have always had water retention. So I have found that if I have too much to drink it sinks to my ankles and I swell up - not only do I not lose weight but the water doesnt come off. Also the advice to drink more to flush your water retention out is not right either - especially if you have a problem! If I drink water to flush out swelling from flying it gets worse! Also if the water doesnt come off in 36 hours it can turn to fat and make you flabby.
If you have an underactive thyroid you will also suffer from water retention so drinking too much will make this worse. Excess water will also stop you losing the weight that you have lost so it is undoing all of your good work - this is all backed up by science. It is not just me talking but I have had over 60 years of experience of this!!
Also if you drink the water quickly it will just go straight through you so it will overwork your kidneys and bladder. So make sure that any water you drink you drink slowly and sip. It is a good idea to drink a glass of water, half an hour before you eat, slowly and this will fill you up and you will eat less. Drink when you are thirsty. How intolerances can stop you losing weight

One of the most important chapters in my book, Unlock your Maximum Weight Loss Potential, is the one on allergies and intolerances. We are all familiar with the these causing swelling or breathing problems but nobody seems to have talked about other problems such as weight gain, water retention - and then not being able to lose the weight/water once it is on.
I once was at an exhibition and a young, very slim girl, was telling me that she had an underactive thyroid - as she was so slim I really wasnt taking much notice!! She then said that it turned out to be a gluten intolerance and that it gave her the symptoms of an underactive thryoid. I had never heard this before but it does make a lot of sense because although thyroid tests are very inaccurate it would explain why some tests come back OK when the person is suffering with weight gain and all the other symptoms. Gluten intolerance is very common but you can also still be intolerant to wheat and yeast - I have a terrible intolerance to yeast and swell up like a ballon when I eat marmite - which is unfortunate because I love it!
Other intolerances can cause water retention and swelling and this water is virtually impossible to release until you stop eating this product and eventually it will come off. Also intolerances can affect your endocrine system which will also cause weight gain and/or water retention.
In my book I teach you various methods to test for yes and no answers (called muscle testing or dowsing with a pendulum) so you could use this method to test which foods are not good for you - you could also ask what foods add weight even though you are not intolerant to them. Or you could get an intolerance test done - there are normally offers available on groupon so I would suggest you use one of those and go for a large spectrum.
It is normally suggested that you stop eating the food for approximately 3 months and then introduce and journal what your reactions are. Usually with an allergy or intolerance there was an emotional trigger so you can use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to eliminate this and then the intolerance will normally disappear. I would highly recommend this.
Please be also aware that you may be ok with food but when it is combined you will become intolerant - so you are ok with cheese and bread but together they cause you a problem - this is why journally every day is so good

Why you need to use low calorie products despite what people say!

In my new book Unlock Your Maximum Weight Loss Potential, I talk about using low calorie products such as Frylight. When you have a weight problem, despite what the so called experts say, you cant cook in oil, have full fat lattes or mayo - it is just not possible! I read an article the other day which said that it was best to have a full fat latte to keep you fuller longer - but you dont have a latte to keep you full but for fun! The difference in calories is staggering! Also the difference between full fat and low fat mayo is nearly 100 calories so why would you use that!
In all honesty if you are on 1000 calories a day who can afford to eat half an advocado? or a handful of nuts because the calories are too much. you need to look for other alternatives. Have a slice of advocado and a couple of nuts and know exactly how many calories you are eating. If you feel you need extra fat, take a good supplement. There is a lot of talk about needing more fat but if you are eating a variety of protein you should be getting all you need. Again the calories of full fat cheese versus low fat is horrendous.
When cooking soups, currys and stews I only use a few squirts of fry light and the taste is great - and it is not greasy. I use low fat salad cream and mayo and would never use an olive oil dressing for obvious reasons. The experts that are recommending full fat are not struggling with their weight.
I saw an article this morning where this lady in Australia lost a couple of stone eating 3,000 calories. But she was of a slim build and didnt have a weight problem that was a battle. I have tried eating more calories over my 63 years and I put on weight as expected - so it works for some people and not others. Also remember you have to cut your calories by 10% at every decade so what worked when you were 30 will not work when you are 60 - unless you have a fast metabolism!
Please be careful when you go out for a meal not to hit the bread and butter/oil before you start. And be aware what is in the sauces you are having. Writing everything down that you eat or taking a photo puts it into perspective and it makes you realise how much you are snacking! Remember even fruit is approx 80 calories a piece so that can add up as well.

This book is packed full of information, techniques, research, and so many other subjects including beliefs and low self esteem and worth. Some people do over eat because of this but a lot don't (including myself!) - but I also know a lot of slim/medium size people that eat a lot.
Over the next few months I will be blogging chapters from the book explaning what a complicated process weight loss is but how you will feel lighter in your body, mind and soul when you have healed all the issues.

Using essential oils to attract abundance and success

There are so many different types of healing and techniques it is difficult to find which ones work for you. In my book, Unlock your Maximum Potential, I review all the techniques I have tried over the last 25 years and say which worked for me and which didnt - so hopefully that will be helpful. But I do feel that we need to go back to basics like using essential oils. We may have burners and oils but we are not targeting areas of our health and life with the correct oils. The smell might be nice and may relax us at the time but they are such a handy tool and can be used for manifestation as well!
Please remember to buy the best oils you can and that they should be diluted if put on the skin with oils. There are lots of diffusers on the market now so chose one that suits your home and situation. If you go for a massage and the oil is already made up this is wrong, the oil should be made specifically for you and the issues you are presenting at the time - otherwise it is just a very expensive massage! If you dont like the smell of the oils you must say as well. You can mix oils but ensure that you like the smell of the outcome!
You can also use essential oils to increase intelligence, increase attention span and encourage studying - so why not burn them while your children are studying. Oils used for success and manifesting can eliminate blocks, patterns and fears and open your senses to manifesting the life of your dreams. Why not give it a go .........
